How long have you been in business?
Established in 2014, CDL Safety School is a premier CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) school that trains people from all walks of life to be safe professional truck drivers. Our clientele are public students, trucking companies and Colorado WorkForce Centers.
What is your primary product or service?
We train (mentor) people from all walks of life to be professional truck drivers. With only 2 students per instructor, it is a very personalized training experience.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Ownership has been in the trucking / transportation industry on and off for 38 years. The Director, Tom Rausch, has had a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) for 38 and has driven approximately 2.5 million safe miles. Mike, Director of Education, has driven for 18 years and has approximately 1.8 million safe miles.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have many unique differences that separates us from "other truck-driving schools". We train with loaded equipment. We use well-maintained equipment. We do not test our own students. We only hire instructors with 20+ years of experience. We teach the PTDI-certified 148 hour course. We have a 99.5% CDL Test pass rate. We have a 100% job placement rate. We are a "driver-mentorship” school, NOT a "driver-mill" school. We are professional. We will never train a student to "just pass the CDL Test". Our top priority is quality CMV safety training resulting in putting safer drivers on the highways of America. We care very much about our students. We are a quality training CMV facility.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our only location is at Bandimere Speedway, 2850 South Rooney Road, Morrison, CO 80465.

We are located West of Denver, CO on the frontage road that runs on the East side of C-470 between the Alameda Avenue and Morrison Road exits.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Money Order and personal checks.

Tom Rausch is the Director / CEO of CDL Safety School.
What are your hours of operation?
Weekdays, 7 am to 5 pm. Weekends, by appointment only.

That we train our students to become professional truck drivers and not just train them to pass their CDL test.
